Biography

Born August 16, 1949 in Léogâne, Jean-Louis Senatus began to draw and paint in 1967 and took classes at the Foyer des Arts Plastiques. He exhibited in Denmark, in France at the Anatole Jakowsky Museum in Nice in 1983, and at the “Art Naïve/Art Vodou” exhibition at the Grand Palais in Paris in 1988, in Switzerland, in the United States and in England.

Jean-Louis Senatus works the tones in transparency and executes monochromes of extreme finesse on imaginary themes.
