For seven years, photographer Jack Eames has been joining sessions run by Haircuts4Homeless across the UK, sitting with its guests, and taking portraits of the people he met there.

Founded by Stewart Roberts MBE in 2014, Haircuts4Homeless mobilizes volunteer hairdressers to provide free haircuts to people experiencing homelessness. What happens in those spaces goes far beyond hair. They are places of touch, conversation, and genuine care.

Jack’s photographs capture exactly that. Made possible by the trust built slowly between photographer, stylist, and guest, they are candid portraits of people supported by Haircuts4Homeless, framed not by hardship but by presence, dignity, and character.

SEEN takes its name from that simple act. Proceeds go directly to Haircuts4Homeless and its continuing work across the UK.
