TRILOGY INTRODUCTION
Artelectrico brings together three exceptional and original artists, each one of them showing very personal styles and inspiring works in several media. These works together produce an amazing kaleidoscope of colour, shape and texture.
All artists have exhibited in the UK and abroad and show the mastery and command of different techniques to deliver their message. An unmissable experience.
RINA BAKIS
Rina Bakis’ artistic journey, influenced by her global experiences and education in graphic design and architectural techniques, infuses her work with a distinctive form, space, and composition. Her paintings, reflecting her deep connection to nature’s energy, capture vibrant hues and dynamic light play.
YAEL DAVID COHEN
Yael David-Cohen studied art in Israel at the Tel-Aviv University and School of Art and completed post graduate studies in printmaking in London at St Martin’s School of Art. Her interests include large mixed media textile art, printmaking and artist books. She is a member of the prestigious European Quilt Art Group (QA85) who exhibit internationally. She has recently exhibited work in the New Prints Brooklyn Gallery New York, the International Fiber Art Biennial in Beijing and the University of South Dakota USA (Artist Books). Her work is abstract using recycled materials and her inspiration comes from natural processes.
GABRIEL ALVAREZ
Gabriel trained with Fernando Castro Pacheco, a famous Mexican painter, engraver, illustrator, printmaker and teacher in Mexico. Gabriel later became a surgeon and continued developing his art work exhibiting in Mexico, Canada, USA, and the UK. Gabriel is an explorer, he is continually searching for new media, new style, and originality. To paraphrase Louise Burgeois, Gabriel is still searching for the missing piece, and on the way he is finding exceptional art.
